AIM
The aim of this website is to create an engaging unit of work for Year 11 students, to cover the Decolonisation of Indochina between 1945-1954, which is located in the Stage 6 Modern History Preliminary Syllabus. Students are usually required to undertake two case studies; one from List A: Europe, North America and Australia and one from List B: Asia, the Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Central/South America. This unit of work falls under List B. This website also aims to provide students with a variety of quality resources that can be utilised at their discretion to aid them in this unit of work.

- The Impact of French imperialism on Indochina
- The rise of the Vietnamese nationalism and war against the French
- The growth of Vietnamese Nationalism/communism
- The defeat of France
